Girl Sport, The stars meet RUGFC at The Valley Stadium

Highlights from the visit

What a super evening this special event turned out to be. Christina Boxer along with Mo Marley of Everton and England fame helped the two presenters, Abbe and Emma to provide an informative and thought provoking meeting.

Almost 30 people girls, parents and coaches attended with photos and autographs happening everywhere.

Mo and Christina also signed some! On a serious note the object of the evening was to highlight good practice and procedures to encourage teenage girls to remain in sport. Many of RUGFC's approaches to the development of girls football as well as the girls social and communication skills were praised with our visitors commenting on what a superb atmosphere the Club has.

Needless to say RUGFC are very proud of this and were pleased to take on board advice and experiences the presentation team shared.

RUGFC wishes Christina the best for this innovative series of seminars and of course Mo for the forthcoming season with Everton and England.
