You may think by looking at the score that R.U were not up to their best to to be honest they worked really hard and created lots of chances but were unable to crack the hard working defence of Marston Green

Marston Green took the lead with a stunning 25yrd goal and soon after increased it with a well worked move from the back to the front with a good finish. R.U hit the bar through K.Bagger after a good turn and shot from 20 yrds. but as R.U pushed forward Marston Green were able to score 2 more before H.T  (0..4)

R.U brought on a new keeper due to injury and she made a first class save after a few minuets but had no chance with the 5th goal which was an amazing run of some 30 yrs which was calmly slotted home. R.U pulled a goal back through B.Newburn following a good run into the box to hit the ball hard a low into the corner.

Marston Green then scored again making the final score 1..6 The girls really tried hard but with no game for 3 months it was hard work against a well organised team.
