The jets started the game hoping for that elusive first win against Pershore Town girls who are new this season only playing a few games as a team. Before long Pershore went ahead leaving the Jets a little stunned but before long got back into the game drawing level. The first half was very evenly matched with the Jets up hill clawing back a second to go in to half time 1-2 up.

Second half the game remained very even end to end play with the Jets defence being tested with some pace from Pershores attacking players. Before long the goals started to come for both sides

Pershore went level, then went ahead, Jets pulling it back to 3-3. The Jets and Pershore continued the battle throughout the second half with the Jets desperate to get the goals needed to secure the victory.

Before long the game was drawing to a close level at 5-5 with no clear view if the game would draw or a winning goal would secure a victory for either side. Into the last minutes a blistering attack from Pershore , leaving the jets defence chasing the crushing 6th goal for Pershore came in for them leaving the Jets totally stunned as the final whistle went.

A very well balanced end to end match with some moments of individual and team play but alas the victory was not to be for the Jets. Very well played to an improving Pershore Team which was seen in the girls faces at their first win.

Well done to all the girls for an entertaining match.
