Redditch United U13 Jewels started with only eight players today but Perdiswell offered to do the same enabling a n even sided game. The Jewels start the stronger of the two but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net.

After a lot of pressure and some fine saves from their goalkeeper a goalmouth scramble in the Perdiswell penalty box saw Molly hit the ball which bounced off one of their players into the net After going ahead the Jewels settled down and soon enough Hollie made it 2-0 at half time

Perdiswell kick off the second half catching the Jewels asleep and its 2 - 1.  No sooner the Jewels re-started the game and a loose ball create an opening for Perdiswell to break leaving the Jewels standing and its 2 - 2. Again the jewels woke up and start to play and the pressure paid off 3 - 2 to the jewels.

Perdiswell kicked off with the Jewels napping again and they make it 3 - 3. Going in to the last 15 minute with tense end to end stuff with the  Perdiswell goalkeeper pulling off some very fine saves to keep them in the game. The Jewels defence working hard eventually it breaks for us with Eleanor and Hollie putting the ball in the net 4-3.

Very good game for a neutral spectator with some fine football at times from both sides. The Perdiswell keeper is a credit to them keeping them in the game. Eleanor Ball here there and everywhere all over the pitch and helping make the goals and even having a few shots herself.
