This week the team was looking forward to another outstanding performance but from the warm up things were not the same. From the off Meadow park showed great skill commitment and passion to push forward and with the enthusiasm to win

Before long meadow park went several goals up but the Jets were not out of the game just yet. Position was all over the pitch with some attacking play but not enough to pull back the 2-0 deficit first half.

Second half went from bad to worse with a break down in attacking football. Unfortunately the Jets goal keeper suffered an injury and was carried off after twisting her knee leaving the Jets needing a reshuffle.

After that the game was all in the Jets half with very little football played in Meadow Park half. All in all the Jets did not turn up this week and were beaten by a superior team on the day. Goal after goal seemed to become easier for Meadow park and this left the Jets deflated by the final whistle 7-0.

Some work to do at training next week with  the return match to Pershore at home. This match is going to be a thriller if the Jets turn up on the day after their last match being a 6-5 frenzy and a match well worth watching.

Some individual play but the Jets did not gel as a team this week. Keep your heads high girls and bounce back next week.
