It's never an easy game at Fernadale but them being a player down there was always hope and as the game starts you would have thought we were the team with a player down with the onslaught from Ferndale with Captain in the middle backed up by Abi and Rosie holding firm for most of the first half and after 1 slight misjudge by Cherise a near perfect half for her although most the pressure was from Fernadale we caught them on the break a few times but not able to to put the ball in the net nil nil half time. The second half starts just as the first with Ferndale pushing for the break and hammering our defence and Cherise in the goal who stopped everything they fired at her from the long distance shots to the close range reflex saves she stopped them all even taking a knock half way through the half again we had our chances with Hollie, Molly and Steph all having attempts but Captain came closest with a long distance lob that bounced over the bar and at times we played some great football that Ferndale couldn't answer and then we went to sleep and after eventually clearing a corner that every player in the box must have hit one way or another Ferndale manage to walk the ball over the line with 30 seconds to go 1 nil to Ferndale final score. POTM no arguments at all and quote from Ferndale manager "WHAT HAVE WE GOT TO DO TO GET PAST YOUR KEEPER AND SCORE THATS THE BEST KEEPING I HAVE SEEN ALL SEASON" well done Cherise and well done to the rest of the team you played some great football and kept battling on and well done Ferndale and thanks for a great game
