A very tight and tense first half went Crusaders way as Redditch again failed to capitalise on early chances and were punished with the opening goal coming as a result of poor communication in defence.

The second half started badly with the Reds conceding a second before a very good strike from distance added a third. Redditch clawed on back from a well executed free kick from Leroux only to to see Crusaders score within a few minutes.

The fifth goal resulted in Redditch making a number of changes to allow every player to get a fair game and saw Perkins score from an acute angle after a neat one - two and a strong run. The game petered out as a contest as the final whistle loomed
