Having not played in 5 months, the weather
being the hottest recorded in October and being let down at the last
minute, this was always going to be a very difficult match. We kept our
concentration well for most of the match and only tiredness and lack of
match fitness let us down. Our defensive back 3 of chloe, shanon and
Katie supported by our midfield of Rae actually started to pass the ball
out from the back with ease at times and looked to be taking a good
shape, bursting forward and taking each pass in there stride, instead of
just hoofing it up field to get rid of it, (Well done on that ! You do
listen then !)
Charlie and Georgie worked tirelessly to
get the ball to Megan and Catalina, whose persistent running and nagging
started to wear down Kinver, all in all an impressive match from our
behalf (Not taking anything away from Kinver) Well done to Chloe in
Goal. Good to see a lot of support from parents this weekend thanks once
again.
