Team warm-ups
Working together
as a team is the basic requirements for any football team. The girls
commence training with basic warm up activities to get those muscles
warmed up thus preventing any injuries. |

Team warm-ups
Once the players
have done the basic limbering up they move on to gentle jogging and
sprint bursts to help with such things as in game pace changes. The
coaches and managers see this a a key way to get them all working
together. |

sport and development the key is listening to instructions and direction
from the qualified coaches, managers and staff.

Team challenges
to give a little competitiveness to the training add fun to the exercise
and enables good coordination skills to be developed |

Development
As with any
activity there will always be some key areas to focus on and develop. An
ethos of the club drive specialised coaching and training in this area.
Our Goalkeeping coach regularly works with our goalkeepers improving
their skills. |
|
 |
Development
All areas of
development can be seen during training from our goalkeepers to our
strikers. This adds key team awareness on the pitch when several players
need to understand how their team mate think. |
|
 |
Development
From individual
goalkeeping, to striker, midfield or defenders team mate awareness there
is also the whole team thinking as one. Again our development in the key
skill is very evident each week on the training ground. |

Behind the scenes
As with any sport
there are dedicated people working hard in the background. RUGFC is no
different. We have volunteers for every aspect from the Committee,
Managers, Coaches and parents who wash kit, help on match days or
cover every task needed in the running of a Football club today.
RUGFC Thanks
these for their dedication to Girls football and in supporting the girls
development. |
