ALL jewellery must be removed (FA Laws of the game - Law 4)

Law 4 of The Laws of the Game states that: 'A player must not use equipment or wear anything which is dangerous to himself (herself) or another player (including any kind of jewellery).'

This Law exists to protect the safety of players and includes wedding rings. These must be removed, not taped or covered.
