In the spot light this week is our club Chairman Richard Carter. Richard joined the committee firstly helping out but soon found the club needed a little more help and was asked to take on a more formal role.

Duly elected Richard has brought a unique set of skills and has given Redditch United Girls a renewed focus for the current season and plans all ready in motion for the new 2010/11 season which can be achieved with the continued support of the clubs staff.

Richard was asked why it took on the role... ..

"Redditch United has a proud tradition for girls and womens football since 1995. I am proud to be a part of a club that prides itself on an ethos that all ages irrespective of skill can join the club and have fun playing a national game.

My daughter currently plays for one of the clubs many teams and this was one way I could help ensure my daughter had my full support for as long as she wished to play football and help in any way I could.

The club needs the support of all parents to help us keep the club alive. Without them it makes the job allot harder."
